Welcome to MatchPractice

This is what we do.

Who We Are

MatchPractice.com was established in 2020 by a group of golfer enthusiasts including experts and die-hard fans of the sport.

We keep up with what's going on in the industry by following the expert tours diligently. Of course, we play golf whenever we have the time and resources. This allows us to stay on top of the latest golf equipment trends, allowing us to achieve even better results on the course.

To build the vast array of content you see here on matchpractice.com, we verify information with golf experts. In addition, professional golfers share their knowledge with our readers.

Mission Statement

We agree that knowledgeable golfers play better golf.

Fresh news, honest feedback, world-class coaching, and data-driven myth busting are all part of our mission to provide golfers with the most up-to-date content.

As a result, we developed this blog to assist beginners in learning the ropes and avoiding purchasing low-quality goods.

What we do

MatchPractice.com isn't like many of the other well-known golf websites you've already heard of. With few gimmicks, bells, or whistles, it's plain, reliable, and provides the information that people are looking for.

We primarily write and publish news articles, tips, guides, and other golf-related material.

We also have reports on golf equipment such as drivers, woods, irons, wedges, balls, rangefinders, and simulators on occasion. Each analysis is focused on extensive testing and research.

We hope to build a large readership over time, especially among golfers looking to upgrade their equipment or who are looking for general information about the game.

By visiting the blog, we hope you will gain new insights that will help you develop your golf game and enjoy this wonderful sport even more.

Follow me

Golf is one of my passions. I was Director and Founder of the magazine Tiempo de Golf (2000-2003), Journalist specializing in golf for the newspaper La Gaceta de Tucumán (2000-2005) and Press Officer of national and international golf tournaments.

I was also President of the Junior Golf Commission of the Jockey Club of Tucumán (1995-1996), Manager of the Golf Department of Las Yungas Country Club (2005-2008), Financial Auditor of the Regional Golf Federation of Northwest Argentina (2007-2009 ) and Director of Institutional Relations of the Argentine Tour of Golf Professionals (2009-2011).

From 2003 to the present I have been a sports manager and I direct two investment funds for professional golfers. Government and Institutional Relations are also part of my field of action. I was awarded a scholarship twice by the United States Department of State: thirteen years ago I did the International Leadership Visitor Program (ILVP) and in 2004 I was selected to represent Argentina at the Youth Democracy Conference (YDC) in Quito, Ecuador.

Enrique Martínez Luque took the MBA at EAE Business School and now works at Argentina's Ministry of Sport.

I have had links to sport for more than 20 years, and I have built my career in golf, where I have held several positions. I was the manager of a golf club, director at a federation level, an agent for professional golfers, and director of institutional relations on the Argentinian Tour, among other responsibilities.

The opportunity to work at the Ministry came about because I was also involved in politics. I am a member of the political party Cambiemos, which has been in power in my country since 2015.

Mike Regan

Mike is a weekend golfer from Connecticut and a devoted fan of the game who turned his passion into the writing experience. Any day he keeps it under 80 is a cool day. When he's not writing about golf his is playing it.

I was never really interested in golf until about 15 years ago when I decided to take it up as a hobby. I wasn’t very good at first, but I was hooked and wanted to learn everything I could about the game.

After several years of practice, I finally achieved my goal of becoming a single digit handicap. This website is where I share the knowledge and experiences that have helped me get there.

My hope is that through this website, you can also achieve your golfing goals. Whether you want to become a pro or just lower your handicap, there is plenty of information here to help you out. Thanks for reading!
